Description

Classic Loire-style Cabernet Franc. Notes of dark fruit on the nose, blue fruit and fig on the palate. Black pepper, cumin, tobacco. Minor savory notes. Has tannic structure to age 10+ years. 

Background

Single varietal blend of fruit from Beacon Tree and Stagebridge vineyards, both Monticello AVA. Neutral oak for 9 months. 13% ABV. 47 cases produced. Jake Busching, Winemaker.
