Delve Wines 2023 Roussanne

Description

Lemon curd, pineapple, jasmine, chamomile. Full-bodied white, with a rounded mouth-feel. Long grapefruit pith finish. 91% Roussanne, 6% Chenin Blanc, 3% Chardonnay. 12.4% ABV. Could age well up to 8-10 years.

Winemaking Notes

Grown at Bellefox Vineyard, Monticello AVA at 780' elevation, Hayesville loam soil. Barrel aged 9 months in neutral oak. 47 cases produced. Jake Busching, Winemaker.

Squash ravioli, shrimp scampi, braised chicken, anything with butter.

Personality
Tells good stories which are mostly true. Speaks three languages, but you can't place her original accent. Always brings a hostess gift.
