Jake Busching 2019 Chardonnay

This bottling of Chardonnay is the first under the JBW label. Both vineyards are above 800' in elevation with southern exposures and 20+ year old vines. The wine was fermented and aged in oak with diverse yeast strains and levels of malolactic completion. The result is a lush wine loaded with ripe chardonnay characters like pear and apple but retaining balanced acidity to pair with food. 30% new French oak was used to assure longevity and strength of palate. Age 5-8 years.
